I am currently employed as a Post Doctoral Fellow at Harvard medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital in Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging. My current research focus is on breast cancer imaging using Diffused Optical Tomography. However, MRI, CT and X-ray are inclusive.
My research experience spans diverse fields including physics, biology, microscopy, laser optics, thermal sciences, mathematical modeling, CFD and multiphysics modeling.
My PhD research involved comprehensive studying of short-pulse laser-tissue interaction for tumor diagnostics and removal. I developed a novel technique to precisely diagnose and remove the subcutaneous skin tumors using ultra-short pulse laser.
I have taught several laboratories and have lectured various undergraduate courses in Mechanical Engineering Department. My professional memberships include ASME, OSA and BMES.
